Leicester City are in talks with AS Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal.

The Daily Mail says Leicester are holding talks over a deal for Ghezzal ahead of competition from Watford.

Monaco granted the 26-year-old permission to travel to England for talks and a medical on Friday prior to meeting up with Claude Puel who was his manager at Lyon.

Leicester are ready to listen to offers for full back Danny Simpson who is not in Puel's plans.

The Foxes begin their Premier League campaign against Manchester United at Old Trafford next Friday evening.
