Malaga could be successful in their pursuit of Leicester City defender Luis Hernandez.

Sky Sports reports that the Spanish club are in talks with the 27-year-old who travelled back to his homeland on Thursday.

Hernandez only joined the Foxes from Sporting Gijon in the summer but has made just two Premier League starts for the reigning champions this season.

It is understood that Malaga and Leicester are close to agreeing a fee for Hernandez who will undergo a medical and negotiate personal terms with the Boquerones.
