Leicester City have persisted in their pursuit of Sheffield Wednesday attacker George Hirst, according to reports from the Mirror.

Hirst has been attracting the interest from a number of top flight clubs this summer after impressing in the England youth teams and Leicester City are believed to be very keen on signing the 18-year-old.

Now according to reports emerging out of England, Leicester have offered £2million for the Wednesday teenager and the Foxes are hopeful of signing the talented attacker on transfer deadline day.
