Leicester cancel awards night; prepare to scout for lower league talent

Leicester City have canceled their end of season awards gala.

The Telegraph says the focus is on Leicester's survival bid, with matches now running out for themselves to get out of the bottom three.

The Foxes are already preparing for relegation with the players facing 35-50 per cent pay-cuts due to clauses in their contracts.

Significantly, Leicester football chief Martyn Glover has also instucted scouts to consider talent in the Championship and League One ahead of the potential drop.

Leicester will meet Liverpool later tonight.
