Sporting Gijon defender Luis Hernandez has announced he's leaving.

After helping Sporting beat the drop on a dramatic final day of the season, Hernandez is set to leave on a Bosman for English champions Leicester City.

"Sunday was a special day, tension, nervousness, effort, passion, mixed with a strange feeling, sadness for leaving," he wrote on Instagram.

"With your love, you have become my home and on the other hand the reward for the effort for leaving our Sporting where it deserves."

The defender did not reveal his next destination, though it is expected to be Leicester.
