Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers insists there's no issues with Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana ahead of their reunion.
Rodgers says he is looking forward to seeing Fofana again, despite the cloud under which he left. In his parting statement on his social media accounts, Fofana accused Rodgers of exposing the defender to unfair criticism. At the time, Rodgers hit back, and said that those words were not written by Fofana.
“I'll be really pleased to see him," Rodgers said. “He was brilliant for me. He was a young player and I understand the game, what happened for him to get out, and the words that were mentioned, I know for a fact were not from him.
“Our relationship was strong, we took a young guy who hadn't played many games and he helped us achieve some great things here. He's a hugely talented player and he's a really good young guy. I look forward to seeing him.
“He was fantastic in his time here for us. Now he's playing in a Champions League quarter-final, the club got a fantastic return on him, and we move on."
