Leicester boss Puel: I’ve improved the team since arriving

Claude Puel believes Leicester's 2-0 win over Watfordon Saturday demonstrated the teams progress under his new management regime.

Puel has won 8 and lost 5 of his 18 matches in charge of the former Premier League champions since been appointed in October last year.

He said: "The most important thing was to win and we kept another clean sheet.

"It shows the solidarity of us, the hard work in on the pitch of all the team it is important.

"Of course we can score more goals in the second half but with just one goal it was not enough because they could score from a long ball or set piece."

Leicester are 7th in the Premier League, whilst Watford's defeat to the Foxes at the King Power stadium culminated in the sacking of Marco Silva with Javi Gracia now in charge.
