Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca was indebted to a young player last night.

The Foxes beat Bournemouth in the FA Cup in midweek to secure their spot in the quarter finals.

Leicester picked up the 1-0 win after Abdul Fatawu fired into the top corner in extra-time.

“He had to shoot 25 times before this goal!" City boss Maresca joked during his post-match press conference.

“The other 24, most of them were in the stands! Hopefully we don't need to wait 25 shots again from him!

“But the goal was very good. I'm happy for Abdul. He's a young player who needs to improve many things but we are quite happy with him."
