Leicester City are favourites to sign Manchester United youngster James Garner.

Football Insider says the Foxes are 'leading the race' to sign Garner this week.

United are open to letting the 21-year-old leave the club before the transfer window closes as the midfielder does 'not figure' in Erik ten Hag's plans.

Leicester, Everton and Southampton are all thought to have made approaches for Garner, but the Foxes are now favourites to sign the player.

Garner, who impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last term, has two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.
