Leeds winger Sinisterra talks Marsch welcome; playing with Van Persie

Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra says he's happy with his first months in England.

The Colombia international joined Leeds in the summer from Feyenoord.

He told Voetbalzone, “I am doing very well.

"The welcome here in Leeds was very warm and the manager (Jesse Marsch) immediately expressed his confidence in me. It immediately felt like home here.

"I have found my place in both Leeds and the national team. I have gained more confidence, so I automatically started to play better."

Of his time in Rotterdam, Sinisterra added: “I always say that Robin van Persie was without a doubt the best player I played with at Feyenoord. I was on the team with him for about a year and a half.

"Although he was already in the fall of his career, he had so many qualities. It was very nice to see him play. I have learned a lot from his touch and his movement without the ball: he is always in the right place."
