Leeds Supporters Club STUNNER: Radrizzani no longer appropriate person to own club

The Leeds United Supporters Club is deeply unhappy with owner Andrea Radrizzani.

The Italian majority shareholder apparently used Elland Road as collateral to get a loan to buy Italian outfit Sampdoria.

Radrizzani, who is in talks to sell his Leeds shares to 49ers Enterprises, did not get the club's permission to involve their stadium in the purchase of another club.

“Andrea Radrizzani is no longer an appropriate person to own Leeds United," John Mann, chair of Leeds United Supporters Club, said.

“His behavior is appalling and he risks never being welcome at our club again.

“The sooner he goes the better and we look forward to the 49ers Enterprises offer being accepted. The only way he can begin to salvage his reputation is through an immediate sale of the club and the stadium.

“There will be a major question mark about whether he is a fit and proper person to own a football club if he attempts to stay on as owner."
