Leeds striker Mateo Joseph is proud of his time with England at the U20 World Cup.

Their run was ended by Italy in the round of 16.

Joseph posted to social media: "Our journey to the World Cup has ended, it has been difficult saying goodbye to it but the experience has been incredible to be able to participate in such an event.

"We've shared unforgettable moments and although we would have liked to have gone further in the competition it was an honor to represent my country and compete with such a great group of players and staff.

"I am so grateful for the opportunity and for the help I received, I have no doubt that this generation will go on to achieve great things."
