Leeds United are ready to enter discussions over a new contract for Adam Forshaw.
The Elland Road club are still reeling from relegation to the Championship last season.
The 31-year-old midfielder is among those that Leeds released on Monday, as his contract expired.
However, The Mail states that Leeds are still talking to Forshaw and hope to renew his deal.
The club did state that Joel Robles and Forshaw could both come back to pre-season training.
Leeds have yet to hire a new manager or a sporting director after a very poor campaign.
