Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca could be in contention for his first international appearance.

Newly-appointed manager Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has been keeping an eye on the midfielder.

De La Fuente succeeded Luis Enrique for the Spain job after the World Cup.

The Athletic have stated that Roca could earn a call-up for the upcoming internationals.

He has impressed for the Under-21s with Spain, winning the UEFA European Championship in 2019 under De La Fuente.

He may be the one who has to fill the hole left by veteran Sergio Busquets, who retired from international football after the World Cup.
