Leeds midfielder Adam Forshaw: I know I need to calm down

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has been dealing with various injury problems in the past three years.

The midfielder admits that he is struggling to not sound like a broken record each time he nears full fitness.

The 31-year-old has been training for the past three weeks, and did play in a midseason friendly against Elche.

“I was speaking to Jesse [Marsch - Leeds boss] about it yesterday and it's something I've got to curb a little bit, especially in training," he said to reporters.

“Not in games, but, like yesterday, I just didn't train for the day to save myself for tonight and I need people to tell me that because I would have trained.

“Jesse thinks it's a plus to my character, the way I am, but ultimately I want to play more games. That's the nuts and bolts of it."
