Lee Grant admits his Man Utd role 'strange'

Manchester United goalkeeper Lee Grant admits his role is "strange".

Having been first choice goalkeeper at his previous clubs the 36-year-old admitted it has been difficult adapting to a different way of working at United.

"It's a strange one," he said to Sky Sports about his role at United.

“It's one of those where I've watched other guys perform and I thought before I didn't know if would be for me or how I would deal with it and at times it's difficult and it's funny because you speak to your friends and they say 'It must be the easiest job in the world' and 'what an unbelievable job' and it is don't get me wrong I would never say it's a chore to do the job I do but it's a strange one, it's very different.

"Not getting that end result, that game that winning feeling at the end of the week is a difficult one."
