Andrea Pirlo is firming as favourite for the coaching job at Lecce.

The former Juventus coach is available after leaving his job in Turkey with Karagumruk last season.

Lecce are in need of a new coach after failing to agree new terms with Marco Baroni earlier this week.

TMW says Lecce chief Pantaleo Corvino met with agent Tullio Tinti, who has always been close to Pirlo, for talks on Wednesday.

The initial conversations progressed positively and more talks will be held today.
