Lazio are pushing to land Newcastle United defender Davide Santon.

Daily Mail says Santon could be on his way back to Italy after one disappointing at Newcastle, with Lazio leading the chase.

The full-back moved to Tyneside last summer in a £5million deal from Inter Milan but was hampered by injuries.
