Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta insists the world's best players will want to move to the Nou Camp with him in charge.
Laporta has talked up the prospect of signing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba should he win the election.
And he also stated: "There are many other world-class players who want to play for Barca if I am president.
"Why? Because they want to share a project with people like (Eric) Abidal and a president who always defends them."
Laporta also commented on Iker Casillas' controversial departure from Real Madrid.
"It's sad that a goalkeeper of Casillas' class leaves this way. (But) They are things of Madrid of which I prefer not to get involved with."
