Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has urged his teammates to keep toiling in what is a very strange and unpredictable Premier League season.
The Reds claimed a 1-0 win over Sunderland on Wednesday night which has propelled them to seventh position, level on points with Manchester United and just five behind fourth-placed Tottenham at the turn of the year.
"The league this year is strange, as everyone has been talking about," Lallana said.
"I think it's just important we take it a game at a time and keep building.
"We've got players coming back to fitness hopefully soon, with all the games we've got we're going to need the squad."
