LaLiga president Javier Tebas admits they'll be investigating the clash between Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde and Villarreal's Alex Baena.
The Real midfielder is under police investigation after allegedly punching Baena in the Santiago Bernabeu carpark after defeat on Saturday. It's been claimed Valverde attacked Baena over his unborn child - which the Villarreal man denies.
Tebas said today: "It is still an incident and an attack that occurs in the car parks of a LaLiga stadium.
"I think that the provocation is a mitigation, it is never the justification of the fact. That must be made very clear.
"Of course it is a reprehensible action. We cannot compare an aggression with the possible provocation."
