Kylian Mbappé informs PSG president Al-Khelaifi he's leaving

Kylian Mbappé will leave PSG at the end of this season when his contract expires.

This has been reported by The Athletic and RMC, putting an end to one of the longest soap operas in recent times.

Mbappe has not revealed where he will play next season, but the football world agrees: "He will go to Real Madrid."

Real have remained silent so far. According to sources from the French club, the terms of the departure have not yet been definitively agreed and the feeling is that it will not be a matter of days or weeks.

In this case, Mbappé has kept his word, the one he gave to PSG last summer, when he activated the clause by which he renounced the automatic one-year renewal, until 2025.

Through a letter to PSG, which was leaked to the press, Kylian's intentions were discovered, who madeit clear that his cycle at PSG was over and that he would leave the team next summer.

This was confirmed by the player on February 13, in training prior to the duel against Real Sociedad, in which time he spoke with the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, to tell him that he was leaving.

The club and the player have decided not to make any statements and will not communicate their decision until a few months from now, when the relationship is coming to an end and the details of the exit agreement are finalised.
