Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt was delighted with their high quality performance in victory over Benfica.

Kuyt opened the scoring as the Reds overturned a first-leg deficit to progress to the last four 5-3 on aggregate after a 4-1 win at Anfield.

Lucas was also on target and Fernando Torres struck twice as the hosts produced a fine attacking performance at Anfield.

Kuyt said: "Almost every goal was from a very high quality.

"And also the first goal of Fernando was an absolutely great goal - I think one of the best goals this season.

"After a corner against us, a great counter-attack and a good pass from Yossi (Benayoun) and me and I could give the ball to Fernando and he finished it off as he does always.

"It was almost the same feeling as if I'd scored a goal myself. I just get such a good feeling if we play like we did.

"I think the team had a great performance and you can see that if we play as a team and we work as a team, we are a very good team and a tough side to beat."
