Kubo happy with new Real Sociedad contract: Now let's beat PSG

Takefusa Kubo has signed a new deal with Real Sociedad.

The Japan international attacker has signed a new contract to 2029. An affordable buyout clause of €60m has been included.

“I want my renewal not to be the news of the week, I want it to be the victory in the Parc des Princes (against PSG) and we will give everything to make it that way," said Kubo.

“I am very happy to be able to renew with this great club, which has welcomed me very well and in which I am very happy."

Kubo also explained the reasons for renewing his contract.

“For many things, but above all for the good feeling I have with my teammates, with the fans, with the sports management, with everyone."

La Real meet PSG this week in the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal.
