Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has added another Dutchman to his shopping list.

While Barca are in talks with Manchester City for Eric Garcia, Koeman has recommended another defensive target in Stefan de Vrij.

And Barca sporting Ramon Planes would be willing to pursue a deal for the Inter Milan defender ahead of Garcia - for now.

With Garcia off contract in June, Planes would be prepared to wait to take the young defender next June on a Bosman and focus on signing De Vrij immediately.

Barca are already in talks with Inter for Lautaro Martinez and could now open a new channel of negotiations for his defensive teammate De Vrij.
