The Dutch FA say Albert Stuivenberg leaves for Manchester United with their best wishes.
Stuivenberg is rated the best youth coach in Dutch football and led the U17s to European Championship victories in 2011 and 2012 before taking charge of the U21s.
He will now join Louis van Gaal's backroom staff at United.
KNVB technical chief Jelle Goes said: "We are grateful to Stuivenberg for his contribution to the development of Dutch talents.
"For example, he has performed in a great way with the U17s. We are happy for him to make this next step in his career."
