Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering putting striker Christian Benteke up for sale during the summer transfer window.

The Reds paid £32.5million to sign Benteke from Aston Villa last summer, but the Belgian has managed just seven goals in 31 appearances for the Merseyside club this campaign.

Benteke appears to have fallen out of favour with Klopp and was an unused substitute in Liverpool's League Cup final loss to Manchester City at the weekend.

The Daily Express is reporting Klopp his ready to cut his losses with the 25-year-old, who last scored in December.
