Jurgen Klopp is full of praise for new signing Xherdan Shaqiri.

Eyebrows were raised when Liverpool signed the Swiss international on a cut price deal in the summer.

But he has proved that he can be a useful member of the squad, even if he is not a regular starter. Shaqiri has scored or assisted in his last six appearances.

"Yeah, or even more. What can I say?" Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com regarding Shaqiri matching expectations since his arrival.

"He's just a fantastic boy on top, that's really good, and he knows that he has so much potential still to improve.

"But of course he's the guy for decisive moments, that's how it is, and we have to make sure that it stays like this. Another really good performance and a fantastic goal on top, so it's really cool."
