Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made a move for Werder Bremen striker Max Kruse.
The Daily Star says Klopp has held talks with Kruse over a potential move to Liverpool.
The Reds lifted the Champions League in Madrid on Saturday but are thought to be in the market for a back-up striker to support Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster.
Bayern Munich, Roma and Fenerbahce are also said to be keen on the 31-year-old whose contract expires this summer.
Kruse scored 12 goals last season for Bremen.
