Klopp driving Liverpool bid to beat Man Utd to Amrabat

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is driving a move for Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat.

The Moroccan was outstanding for his nation at the World Cup in Qatar over the winter.

Earning significant plaudits for his role in that tournament, Amrabat also had an impressive season with La Viola.

Per The Athletic, Reds boss Klopp wants to add a defensive midfielder to his squad.

They will, however, face competition for the anchor man's signature, as Manchester United are also linked.

Amrabat may see his chances of starting at Liverpool as greater than United.

The Reds are likely to lose Fabinho this summer, while United do have Casemiro who plays a similar position.
