The Reds hammered Aston Villa 6-0 at Villa Park with goals from six different scorers to move within three points of the top five.
It was their biggest win since Klopp took over in October and left a positive impression on the boss.
"We made wonderful goals, and in the end it was a clear result," he told Sky Sports.
"It's not too often in a manager's life that in the last 20 minutes you can really enjoy it, but today it was like this.
"We did what we had to do today, and it was really good and easy to enjoy. The crowd was satisfied, and that's how it should be sometimes.
"It's the best thing we could have done today, win, and like this. It's a perfect day.
"We scored the goals at the right moment. It was a result for the soul."
Daniel Sturridge, James Milner, Emre Can, Divock Origi, Nathaniel Clyne and Kolo Toure were all on the scoresheet as Liverpool inflicted yet another defeat on bottom-placed Villa who now look destined for the drop.
