Kjaer: San Marino players threatened to go after Hojlund's knees

Denmark defender Simon Kjaer accused San Marino's players of threatening Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund during last night's Euro qualifying win.

AC Milan defender Kjaer insists opposition were threatening to target his teammate's knees while on the pitch.

He said, "It's dangerous, and there are three referees right next to it. They (the San Marino players) just told him that they are going after his knees after the situation down there.

"I told the ref and asked if he wants me to translate it for him now..."

Denmark came from behind to win 2-1 on the night.
