Tottenham hero Ledley King is confident the club's new signings can handle the tension of a North London derby today against Arsenal.
Although the class of Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Nacer Chadli cannot be doubted, the fact remains that this will be their first experience of what is often a feisty and venomous derby.
"I am sure they will love it," King said.
"All the new signings have slipped in to the team seamlessly and those are all good signs.
"The start we have made this season has been positive.
"We have had two good performances in the league, two clean sheets and a striker (Soldado) who is finding the back of the net.
"It's going to be a long, hard season. We won't get carried away too early, but at the moment it does look positive, they are looking to bring in new players so I am sure it will be a good season."
