Reports suggest that J-League outfit Kashima Antlers will lose Brazilian striker Marquinhos once his contract expires.
The 34-year old former Shimizu S-Pulse and JEF United talisman's deal runs out shortly and it is expected that he will leave the club he spearheaded to three successive title between 2007 and 2009.
Marquinhos, who has also played for Tokyo Verdy and Yokohama Marinos in Japan, has scored 109 goals in 229 J-League appearances with 59 goals coming during his time with Kashima.
It is believed that the striker is hoping to remain in Japan but would be open to a move abroad if something was to occur.
