Former Real Madrid defender and coach Aitor Karanka believes they're now well placed to win the LaLiga.

Victory over Getafe last night now has Real four points clear at the top of the table.

Karanka told Marca: "The sensations and dynamics that Real Madrid has is different from that of Barça. Real Madrid in these situations always grows.

"There you only think about winning and they have had to adapt to a new football for it."

Asked which players from Real had impressed him, the former Middlesbrough manager added: "Casemiro, Karim, Sergio ... they are stronger than the rest. And Vinicius, who is already a reality."
