Kanchelskis backing CSKA midfielder Mukhin for Man Utd move

Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis is backing Maxim Mukhin for a move to Old Trafford.

The 21 year-old CSKA Moscow midfielder has talked up the prospect of moving to United this week.

Kanchelskis told Metaratings: "Anything is possible, I would like to see one of the Russian players in Manchester United. It's difficult, the situation with our sport is difficult now. But everyone has a dream. I can only wish Max good luck, so that he works and believes in it. Many people just want to leave to earn money and not play at this level.

"Previously, most players went to Europe for lower salaries. Shevchenko went to Milan with a reduction in salary, I received more at Shakhtar than in Manchester. It so happened that the Mancunians helped me, thank them very much.

"Not everyone wants to leave. There you need to be stronger than your teammates, every game and training is a challenge. Many people are afraid of this. Why look for good things and go to Europe for pennies if you earn a lot here? There are many advisers and crooks in football who tell you not to leave. Mukhin is a great guy, God willing, everything works out for him."
