Ozan Kabak has begun talking to other clubs as Liverpool switch their attention to RB Leipzig stopper Ibrahima Konate.
Kabak spent the second-half of last season on loan at Liverpool from Schalke.
The Reds have decided not to activate a clause to buy Kabak for £18m, with add-on clauses.
The Turkey international is now talking with other clubs, per the BBC.
Discussions are currently underway between Liverpool and Leipzig over a deal for Konate.
The France U21 international has a release clause of £34m, but it is believed there will be bonuses added onto the deal.
Jurgen Klopp's defence was decimated by injuries this season and the club are looking to bolster their ranks with one of Europe's brightest prospects.
