Juventus haven't shelved their plans to bring Paul Pogba back to Turin from Manchester United.
Despite his revival under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at United, Juve's board remain determined to re-sign the Frenchman.
RAI Sport says coach Max Allegri has been consulted about sacrificing two of his midfielders to raise funds and make room for Pogba.
No names have yet been finalised, though Blaise Matuidi and Sami Khedira are two early candidates.
For his part, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola remains in regular contact with Juve about an end of season move for his client.
