Juventus signing Kean delighted with Italy double

Juventus signing Moise Kean struck twice as Italy thrashed Lithuania 5-0 in their World Cup qualifier.

Giacomo Raspadori, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and an own goal rounded off the scoring.

“It was important to get back in this shirt and give 100 per cent for the jersey, as it means so much to me every time," Kean told RAI Sport.

“It was not easy to be at home watching the Euros, but I was always in front of the television cheering on my teammates. They brought home the trophy for Italy and that's what matters.

“It's all about hard work, how professionally I approach it. My teammates gave me a warm welcome, I am working every day and returned with new objectives, a new mentality, and I'm always ready to help my teammates."

Kean also said of leaving Everton for Juve, “It helped me so much, as I was working alongside great players and learning all the time. There's a lot of work to be done now in Turin and I will give 100 per cent in every training session."
