Juventus scouts were at Emirates on Sunday to see Arsenal defeat Manchester City.

City midfielder Nigel de Jong has been linked with a £11 million move to Juve this week.

However, Juve GM Beppe Marotta, who has been handed an €80 million warchest for the summer market, is ready to compete with all comers for Arsenal captain Robin van Persie. Theo Walcott, still to discuss a new deal with Arsenal, is also a favourite of Juve.
