Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon offered no apologies for his bust-up with Inter Milan midfielder Thiago Motta on Saturday.

During the 2-1 win, Buffon was involved in an ugly tussle with Motta who looked to have said something offensive.

The goalkeeper said: "He didn't say anything. It's just at times you take something well and at other times you take something badly.

"This time I took it badly. But there are occasions in which it's good to make yourself heard.

"With Motta there is history. Six or seven years ago, when he played for Barcelona, we were already at each other. To think he is an ex-Genoa player."
