Juventus GM Beppe Marotta is eager to take the sting out of any row with Inter Milan.

He was asked about the recent row between Antonio Conte and Inter striker Antonio Cassano, as the pair traded insults via the media.

"I don't want to further stoke the fires of controversy. Conte did not want to attack Cassano, but rather outline his ideal player.

"Cassano is a great champion, but clearly there has to be a great man in there too and at times he has let himself go into some unfortunate situations. I hope he can have more respect for his Coaches and not continue with this controversy."
