Juventus fullback Mattia De Sciglio expects Atletico Madrid physical battle

Juventus full-back Mattia De Sciglio expects a physical battle against Champions League opponents Atletico Madrid.

The first leg of the Round of 16 is on Wednesday evening at the Wanda Metropolitano.

“I feel in good shape, we're working well in training and I think we'll be in the best possible condition for the Champions League match," De Sciglio told TuttoJuve after a 3-0 Serie A win over Frosinone.

“It's going to be a battle and a very, very difficult test, because they are one of the toughest teams to play against. Mind you, if we want to go all the way, we must play them all eventually.

“I think Atletico Madrid will be very aggressive and press high at the start, but as the game wears on, we must do well to control the ball and have patience, as they tend to clam up and go on the counter-attack.

“It's a tie that will be decided over 180 minutes and we've got to take that into account too. The approach and attitude will be very important."
