Juventus determined to test Liverpool resolve for Firmino; no contract talks planned

Liverpool management aren't encouraging offers for Roberto Firmino.

Knowing he is inside the final year of his Reds deal, Juventus plan to make an offer of €22m for the striker this week.

Juve chiefs have fielded feedback that Firmino has been unsettled by Liverpool's signing of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

But the Liverpool Echo says Liverpool's position is unchanged and they have absolutely no appetite for allowing Firmino to leave this summer.

While there is no update on the possibility of a new contract, he remains part of Jurgen Klopp's plans for the upcoming season and the Reds are not welcoming any interest.
