Juventus defender Federico Gatti says he isn't getting carried away with the hype swirling around him.

Gatti, who joined 14 months ago from Serie BFrosinone, has shone since breaking into the Juve first team this season.

But he told La Stampa: "Two good games don't turn me into a phenomenon, just as two bad ones don't make me a dud. There have been difficult moments and I know I will face more. I worked hard and waited for a chance.

“Mine is a unique story. There are many strong players, but that's not enough.

"You have to have something more inside, as well as a lot of luck.

"I was in the right place at the right time, and I met people who believed in me."
