Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Brandt has played down the prospect of leaving this summer.
Liverpool and Bayern Munich are keen on the German youngster.
But Brandt says: “If you make a move, there's no guarantee that you play.
“I think it is very important for me to play many matches next season and that's what I can do in Leverkusen."
The persistent rumours have lead to many Leverkusen fans protesting against the winger, who has been left frustrated over the constant transfer talk.
He added: “That has nothing to with freedom of speech.
“You can't keep people from doing it, probably. There are many idiots in this world."
