Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus is being linked with the vacant manager's job at Real Madrid.

Jorge Jesus is expected to leave Sporting CP after comments last week.

Sporting have been thrown into an institutional crisis, with players threatening to strike due to the coach's differences with the board and subsequently being attacked by around 50 ultras during a training session.

Jorge Jesus said afterwards that he suspected Sporting president Bruno Carvalho was behind the incident.

It is now likely he is set to leave and Corriere dello Sport says the Portuguese is now under consideration at Real Madrid.
