Jordon Ibe on Ebbsfleet bench for FA Cup draw with Slough

Former Bournemouth and Liverpool forward Jordon Ibe has made his return to football this past weekend with fifth-tier Ebbsfleet United.

Once a club record signing for the Cherries back in 2016, Ibe last played senior football for Derby in December 2020.

He signed for Turkish second-tier outfit Adanaspor in January 2022, but never played.

This weekend, he was involved as an unused substitute for Ebbsfleet's 2-2 draw with Slough Town in the FA Cup.

Ibe played 92 games for Bournemouth, scoring five goals and failing to justify his price tag.

The 27-year-old has never played non-league football before signing for Ebbsfleet.
