Joao Mario is very happy with his time at West Ham United.

The Portuguese arrived in London from Inter Milan in January and has scored two goals in 12 appearances for the Hammers, helping the club secure the Premier League status and finish the season on a high.

The midfielder has thanked everyone at the club for the welcome he received as he seems eager to prolong his stay in London.

"For me it's been an amazing experience. I want to say thank you to West Ham for everything they've done, my teammates, and my coaches.", Mario said to West Ham TV.

"I'm really happy with the last six months and we will see what happens."
