Jeff Hendrick: Turf Moor away locker room big Burnley advantage

Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick is convinced Turf Moor is an advantage in their survival fight.

Burnley have collected 16 of their 17 Premier League points at home this season after victory over Bournemouth, started by Hendrick's scorching volley, a goal of the season contender.

"It's a lot smaller [than normal], I can tell you that," Hendrick said when asked about the away team's facilities.

"It is hard here. I think when I signed I said I had never actually won here. It is a hard place for teams to come to and we've got to make sure it stays that way.

"It is different. But if you look at the pitch, it's brilliant. And that's where the football is played. It's not played in the dressing room.

"I'm sure when teams look at the fixtures and see they've got us away, they probably don't want that."
